FREE LIFE FAMILY
To see families healed, whole and together in Christ.
The heart of the Father is toward every race and His message of Love applies to every generation. He’s concerned about you, and your whole family. His desire is that you be free in Christ from the weight of sin and all its effects. Free life family is a church, a home, a Christ magnifying worship center, a place for healing, deliverance, joy, hope, and total freedom in Christ Jesus! Together we will walk forth as the body of Christ to fulfill the great commission to “go forth and make disciples of all nations…” bringing the gospel message of hope, healing, and total freedom to all the people and families in our communities and around the world. Statement of Faith
Apostle Calvin Woods and his wife/Co-Pastor Shirley Woods
- God is a Triune Being made up of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (I John 5:7; Matthew 3:16-17)
- As an individual confesses the Lord Jesus Christ with his mouth and believes in his heart that God raised Him from the dead, he shall be saved. An individual must be born again to see the kingdom of God. (Romans 10:9-10; II Corinthians 5:17-18; John 3:3-8)
- Salvation, Healing, Deliverance, and Prosperity are all included in the atonement. (I Peter 2:24; Galatians 3:13; II Corinthians 8:9; Isaiah 53:4-5)
- Every believer has the responsibility to work out his/her own salvation and to endeavor to live upright and holy before the Lord. (Romans 8:1; Philippians 2:1-2; Romans 12:1-2; II Corinthians 7:1)
- The baptism of the Holy Spirit is given to believers to empower them to be a witness through outward evidence of supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit. (I Corinthians 12:1-11; 14:1-25; Mark 16:14-20; Acts 1:8; 2:1-4; 19:1-6)
- The gifts, administrations, and functions of the Holy Spirit are to be an active part of the church today. (I Corinthians 12:1-11; John 14:12; Mark 16:14-20)
- We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ wherein all those living for Him will be raptured, or caught up in the air and will forever be with Him. (I Thessalonians 4:16-17)
- Eternal Judgment (Hebrews 6:2; II Corinthians 5:10; Romans 14:10-12; Hebrews 9:27-28; I Corinthians 3:11-15)
- We believe in spontaneous, prophetic praise and worship (Psalm 149:6; Ephesians 5:18-19; Colossians 3:16)
