Calvin Woods and his wife, Shirley, are the founders of Free Life Family Worship Center and Harvest Praise Invasion International, Inc. in Minneapolis, MN. Their vision includes a 24/7 Prayer and Worship revival center and a spiritual United Nations. Apostle Calvin moves in prophetic song, word, preaching, and teaching to shift the spiritual climate of regions. Many testify of spiritual transformations, miracles, healings, and deliverance during his meetings. Their mission is to prepare the Body of Christ for the end-time harvest and the return of Christ.
Shirley Woods, co-founder of both ministries, has over 40 years of experience in ministry. She is anointed for teaching, preaching, prophetic ministry, and healing. Her passion is to see individuals and families transformed by the power of Christ, with a special heart for restoration and those in spiritual bondage. Shirley envisions a world where all people experience wholeness in spirit, soul, and body, as promised in 1 Thessalonians 5:23.
What We Believe
Our faith is rooted in the Word of God and led by the Holy Spirit. We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who offers salvation, healing, deliverance, and hope to all who believe.
We believe in the power of the cross, the need for new birth, and the presence of the Holy Spirit actively moving in the church today. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are called to live holy lives, empowered by the Spirit and equipped with His gifts to serve and witness.
Our hope is anchored in the promise of Christ’s return and the eternal life to come. Worship, Word, and Spirit are at the heart of everything we do.
Giving
We believe that Jesus is a giver, not a taker. He has not only given us life and breath but, through His death and resurrection, He conquered sin, which would have stolen both from us. When it comes to giving, we don’t view it as a matter of percentages or obligation.
Giving is an act of worship, and our worship is a heartfelt response to the boundless grace and glory of God.
